Mrs. Ross has over 20 years experience as a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her specialty is marriage and relationship counseling.  She provides effective tools and techniques that are designed to help clients get the results they seek in their relationship. Mrs. Ross believes trust, good communication, and commitment are the keys to establishing a solid foundation for a successful relationship.  She works with individuals and couples who are evolving through various stages of their lives, whether newly married, considering divorce or dealing with other emotional life changing events. While encouraging her clients to participate fully in the therapy process, she also holds them accountable for their progress.  She has successfully treated clients coping with depression, sex and intimacy issues, infidelity and other relationship conflicts. With sensitivity and compassion, she works with each client to help them build on their strengths and identify solutions to unresolved issues.
 
Mrs. Ross is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients.  As a seasoned health care professional, she has been employed in a variety of therapeutic positions including: individual and family therapist, director of family preservation programs, clinical care coordinator, crisis counselor, school therapist, and caregiver.

In addition, Mrs. Ross has presented at national conferences and to general audiences on topics ranging from Depression to Love and Relationships.  She appeared as a guest therapist on WHUR's 96.3 FM Audrey Chapman Radio Talk Show on topics including depression and relationships. She is currently the Chair of  Relationship and Romance committee for the Alexandria, VA Mocha Moms Chapter.
